My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Local animal control officers who had Daisy’s best interests at heart,
called The Underdog Foundation. Animal Control first seized Daisy before Christmas Daisy was
removed from her owner’s care after numerous complaints from neighbors about the dogs living conditions. She was found living in a crate with feces, urine, filth and was believed to have a broken hind leg.

They gave her numerous opportunities to take Daisy to a vet to get he leg looked at, but she never did. When Daisy Mae was seized, her owner said she would only surrender her
if she would be ‘put-down’, and not treated, because if “she [the owner]
couldn’t have her, then no one could”

Fast forward approximately 2 weeks, Animal Services was back at Daisy’s home removing her for good after she was left to continue to live in pain. Our vet discovered she had a completely broken bone likely due to some traumatic force. Animal services, with the help of Underdog, is currently building an animal cruelty and neglect case against the owner and Daisy is awaiting orthopedic surgery in her foster home. Her care will be expensive and time consuming, but its worth it, just look at these photos.
If you would like to give Daisy a forever home and make her a part of your family please contact us.
An adoption application, background check and home visit are required.
