Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beetle and Bailey are 10 years old and have been together since they were small pups. Their owner was moving and could not take them with her so they came into rescue. They have been vetted, neutered and are heartworm/lyme negative. Beetle had a large benign tumor removed from his head and has cataracts in his left eye and starting in his right but he is doing great. They are housetrained, love everyone-kids, cats, and other dogs. They would love to find a home of their own to spend the rest of their lives.
1/14/11 - The information above was written by their previous rescue's foster home. We have only just received these 2 sweeties today into our rescue because of personal issues of the foster mom. Their coming to Mureille's Place was not due to anything bad on their part.
We are currently getting them vet checked & groomed and expect them to be ready for adoption soon. From what we have seen so far, they are wonderful. Neither have had any accidents in the house and both are very affectionate. Please contact Barbara if you are interested in adopting them. They are a bonded pair and need to stay together.
2/2011 - Both dogs have been to the vet and are now up to date on shots. They had worms and fleas but they have been taken care of. They have also been groomed and look fabulous. Both had minor skin infections that have been taken care of with anti-biotics and they are doing great. Bailey is potty trained for sure but Beetle is having some trouble holding it for long periodsof time and is wearing a belly band.
3/2011 - Beetle has had some health issues as of late. He is now blind and having issues with his kidneys. I would like to keep Bailey with him here at the sanctuary, but will consider adopting him if the right home came along.
6/2011 - Beetle passed away. Bailey misses him very much but has gone through the mourning period and is doing great. He is ready for a new home.
