Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hailey!! Hailey is a special little beagle who has been through too much in her short life. She is roughly 4 years old, and had a spinal laminectomy surgery back in June 2010, and is doing AMAZING! You'd never even know that this beagle was once at risk of losing her life....until she had this amazingly successful surgery. Don't tell Hailey how lucky she is...she acts like she never even had a surgery! She has had an amazing recovery and really needs some special adopters to let her continue to live the good life! She loves to play with other dogs, loves all people she meets, is OK with cats, and would do best in a home with someone home for a portion of the day, another dog in the home, and with a fenced in yard. Hailey does likely have IVDD, so she will still need to be monitored so that she does not "overdo" things, but otherwise, she will really make a wonderful addition to a home. She does not require additional follow-up,meds, or anything....just some love and a great home! Young children might climb on her, which would not be good for her back, so a home with older children would be best! If you think you can give Hailey a great home, please consider adoption!
