My story

Good day friends. I am Jack, a cordial 8-year-old Shepherd mix who was turned into the shelter with my sister, Samantha, because my guardian was evicted from our home. I am a sweet lad who is a little more spry than my sister but am still somewhat impaired by my arthritis. I am also a bit more reserved than my sister and is less tolerant of handling due to the lumps and bumps I have on my body but I am just as deserving of a kind, patient, forever home without small children. Ideally, I wish I could continue to live with my sister throughout the rest of our years but if that is not to be then I think we will be ok. Please, won’t you find it in your heart to rescue us or maybe foster us? LAPH will be happy to pay for all of my expenses. You will be amazed at how good it will make you feel to provide a safe and loving home for dogs that have been given up on. I fear that nobody will take a chance on us but I still pray everyday that one day an angel will look down at me through my cage and smile. Angel eyes, with your angel eyes, will you always be there to hold me? Please say you will.
