Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JADA IS IN URGENT NEED OF A FOSTER HOME OR FOREVER HOME. PLEASE EMAIL teddyacres@yahoo.com IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP. Jada is a gorgeous mixed breed puppy who has continuously brought smiles to the faces of everyone she meets. Jada is guessed to be about 8-10 months old. She is mostly of Shepherd decent it appears. What else she is mixed with will be a forever mystery...her breed can just be described as 'A Barkin Dog'!!! Jada is a well adjusted and confident dog. She is very good with other dogs and has lived with both a male and female canine while in our care. Jada visits an off leash dog park regularly and is a welcomed visitor to the park. She is well behaved and social. Jada is trustworthy and happy when meeting new people. She walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. Jada is now successfully housetrained. She is also quite excellent in the crate. Jada is very puppyish still and will chew other things if not given appropriate chew toys to play with. Jada loves the children she lives with in her foster home(the two she's with here). HOWEVER...these young children are very confident and secure with large dogs and have lived with dogs their entire lives. Jada does do puppy mouthing during play and gets rambunctious...very typical puppy behaviour and she's learning about safe puppy play with her children. There is not one problem in her current home living with the young children...BUT we will not approve her to go to a forever home with young children unless the children are also experienced and secure with large dogs. We will NOT tolerate Jada being blamed for usual and typical puppy behaviours that new owners are not familiar with proper training for. This decision in no way reflects Jada's nature or personality...but rather us wanting to protect her from being placed in a home where owners are NOT able to properly educate their children about how to act with a large puppy in the house. Jada is a very happy dog and she is extremely loving and snuggley. She has her favourite spot on the couch and ADORES just being near her family to watch TV or simply be near them and included as a member of the family. Jada has made her foster family very happy and proud. She will be the most loyal companion for the rest of her life. She will bond so closely to her new owners. Jada is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm tested NEG, and treated with Revolution. If you would like to apply to adopt her, please email teddyacres@yahoo.com with a profile and then an application form can be sent. An adoption fee of $250 applies.
