Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Slater. I am a very lucky boy. You see, not too long ago someone who I thought cared for me abandoned me on the streets to fend for myself. I sought out refuge at a construction site where I made friends with the men there. They would feed me sometimes and give me some attention, but then they would leave at night and I would be all alone.
I was almost taken to a place called animal control, and I heard that its very bad and scary for dogs there, so I was so happy when a nice lady came and picked me up and brought me to a safe place.
Slater is currently being temporarily fostered with a family. His foster mom says he is a wonderful and affectionate dog! He does well with other dogs, children and cats!
He is housebroken, crate trained and is learning basic commands. It seems that Slater was someones companion at one point but it looks like they didn't see how special he was to care for him.
Their loss is your gain! Slater is a big sweetheart and he deserves a permanent and loving home.
He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and we can transport if needed. Please contact us today to meet Slater!
An adoption application and home visit is required.
