My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whitney: 5 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 12", 10 lb. Rescued from shelter. Whitney came to us from a high kill shelter in Kentucky via a good samaritan. Her paperwork says she was surrendered because she was not good with children. Whitney is currently in a fosterhome with very young children and there doesn't seem to be issues but for everyone's safety we recommend no children under the age of 10 for her forever home. Whitney LOVES attention and really isn't interested in sharing lap privledges so she would probably love being an only dog or having a dog companion that isn't as interested in lap time. Whitney takes a day to get on schedule with house training and is 100% quickly so no problems there but really doesn't see the need to be in a crate when she can see you so expect an earfull until you leave the house! Whitney will make a wonderful addition with her gentle demeanor and lap warming skills so fill out an adoption application and avoid the long cold winter months alone.
