Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a 5 year white with fawn girl, who is new to rescue. Bella is not cat or small dog tolerant.
Bella is my name. Blonde and petite with red patches on my fur, I’m one eye catching gorgeous hound. I get on well with other large dogs, but not with small dogs and cats. As I’m a girly pooch, I think a pink Martindale leash with a diamond collar would suit me admirably when I nimbly skip along beside you on our walks. Oh, forget the diamonds. Liz just told me that a diamond collar would be too ostentatious and detract from my natural beauty, but rhinestones would work just fine. Although I appreciate my raised bed at the kennel, I can’t wait to snuggle on a plush doggie bed in a real home with a family that loves me. I will be spayed shortly and available for adoption toward the end of January, so mark your calendars, ‘cos I’m one sweet deal of a pooch.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Bella is a beauty, with liquid deer eyes and white lashes. She is not shy, rarely barks, and completely ignores the vacuum when it’s in motion. She is now seeking affection, taking treats from her foster mom’s hand, and beginning to welcome her foster mom at the door when she returns home. Bella gets along well with two female greyhound roommates and is starting to play with toys. She has impeccable house manners and is house trained with a doggie door, but will whine a little when her foster mom leaves for a couple of hours. Bella is healthy, has a good appetite and no foods seem to bother her. She loves her walks and, as she has a prey drive, is very alert to rabbits and quail. She is not compatible with cats or small dogs. Bella knows her name, comes when called, and responds to the command ‘get in your bed’ and the noise her foster mom uses for correction.
Bella has an adoption pending.
