Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a 1-2 year old lab/hound mix rescued from a high-kill shelter in rural North Carolina. She has had a rough start in life and needs a person with a special touch. She is very sweet, but it seems that she has either had bad experiences with people in the past, or she is semi-feral and was never properly socialized. Due to the fact that she walks with a slight limp on one of her front legs, we fear both. She is housebroken, but does not do well confined in a crate. She has started chewing on dog bones, playing with dog toys and is currently learning the command "sit".
Lucy is wonderful with both other dogs and cats, and she is much more comfortable with people in the presence of another dog. Due to this she must be placed in a home with other dogs. Also, due to difficulties with walking on a leash, she must be placed in a home with a fenced yard.
