DOB: Aug 2009 FeLV/FIV test: negative
Lola was a stray found in Edmonton around the University area. She was a mother with three kittens outside in the elements. They were caught and brought to SNAP. Lola has been with SNAP for quite some time, since about December 2009. All of her kittens have gone to homes and she remains looking for a special home. Lola is particular in how she likes to be stroked and for how long. She is temperamental which makes it difficult to find a home for her. She cannot stay at the kennels at Petsmart because it stresses her out too much and then she behaves unacceptably. It had been considered by SNAP to find Lola a barn home but while in foster care she could be so sweet and seeks human companionship that it was decided we would try to find her a home with an experienced cat owner who has the understanding and skill to give a cat like Lola a home. We understand that this type of owner is not common but we want to try for Lola’s sake. She does not do well with other cats or dogs and should not go to a home with children.
Currently in a foster home.
