Location: DFW, Texas
Macy is a sweet girl! She was found in an Illinois shelter, very pregnant. Macy patiently rode in a car all the way to Oklahoma, where she gave birth to four boys and one girl on Labor Day, and she has been busy taking care of them since. She is very submissive to people and knows the "sit" command. Macy is absolutely crazy about kids of all ages - her short tail starts wagging like crazy when she sees a child, and she wants to kiss them and be petted by them. She is about 3 years old and weighs 17 pounds. Macy loves to sit in your lap when she is taking a break from playing with toys. She is housetrained on tile, unknown on carpet. Macy will not hesitate to let you know if she needs to go outside rather than have an accident on the tile. She probably isn't okay with cats judging from how she looks at the ones in the vet's office. Macy is frightened by thunder. She may be an excellent candidate for flyball because she loves to chase after balls, and she can also jump very high. Macy will be available to her forever home, havig been spayed on November 29. The perfect home for Macy would be one with children and another playful dog.
