Horatio (also known as Ray) is a big, handsome boy - all 35 pounds of him! We believe Ray is from Decker bloodlines. He's about 5 years old and in excellent health. Horatio is good with older children, but we haven’t had him around little kids. He likes other dogs, but can sometimes become over-stimulated by a large "pack", so we think he would be happier in a home with no more than one other dog. Ray is good with cats - if they show him who's the boss right up front. He's a little shy around strangers, but will warm up to them and allow them to pet him after a short time. Ray loves to play with dogs, people, and especially with his toys; he has a stuffed tiger that he loves to toss up in the air and chase around the house! Horatio has learned a few tricks, and will try to perform all of them at once (before you even ask) if he sees you with his favorite treat. His current tricks always start with "sit", and he will "shake" when you hold out your right hand. Ray will lie down if you say "down", and will also "speak" on command. He is working on "sit-up’, though this one been tough to learn because of his "crooked nub". Horatio rides well in the car, loves to go for walks, and is
very good on the leash. He does not get into things that he shouldn't, and has not had any accidents in the house (he stays in all day while his foster family is at work). To see more pictures of Ray
