UPDATED BIO 2/5/2011: Lola is a beautiful 2 year old 11 lb yorkie princess who is being fostered in Key West, FL.
Lola is making great improvements in her socialization and learning that humans are not going to hurt her. She is in LOVE with her foster mom and wouldn't DREAM of hurting her, but she occasionally growls at new people. WIth a little correction, (visitors bringing Lola treats, strangers taking Lola for walks) Lola is figuring out that humans are pretty cool. She is becoming more trustworthy every day. She has never had a single accident in the home. YAY LOLA!
If you think you could be Lola's FURever family, let her FM know, 'kay?
UPDATED BIO 12/26/2010: Lola is a gorgeous 2 year old 11 lb (correct weight) little girl who is being fostered in Key West, FL.
Lola has started to blossom in her foster home. She was completely unsocialized in her previous home and had limited interactions with humans that weren't her owners. That said, she has formed a very close bond with her foster mom in a very short period of time. She needs to be corrected because Lola is rather protective of her. As time has passed, this has improved. Lola is just a scared little girl who needs a confident, experienced owner who can help her feel confident, comfortable, and loved while showing her the appropriate way to behave. She is a sweetheart deep down inside and her foster parents are just in love with her. Lola should only be adopted to a home without children
INITIAL BIO 12/9/2010: Lola is a beautiful little 10 lb 2 year old little girl who is being fostered in Key West, FL.
Lola was surrendered by her owners because their infant developed allergies which were attributed to Lola. Lola is adjusting to her new family. Tomorrow she will see the vet for a full set of vaccinations and microchipping. Lola is already spayed.
Please stay tuned for updates on Lola while FM gets to know her better. At this point, while she is adjusting, we believe Lola will likely do well in an adult only household that has experience with terriers. She is housetrained and friendly to other dogs and would likely do well with a companion.
