My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella has been chained up outside alone in the extreme TN summer heat and freezing TN winter since she was 8 weeks old. She has spent the 1st year of her life secluded and chained to the ground with no shelter, being starved.

Of course she was not spayed so she just had her 1st litter at the age of one. Her only source of nutrience was the leftover food she was being by her "family". The 5 children who lived there were told to give the dog their leftover milk from cereal in the morning and then she was fed the coffee grinds from the morning coffee.

Somehow this sweet dog managed to keep her babies fed for the first month but she just didn't have the nutrience she needed so her milk started to dry up and they all started starving.

After MONTHS of painful and constant work with the owner, she finally agreed to release Stella and almost all of her puppies to the numerous people working to save these dogs. Thankfully, all of the puppies have gone to rescue and are safe. Now we just need to find a home for sweet Stella.

She is 1 years old. She is EXTREMELY friendly and gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids and babies. She has spent her life outside and is now at a boarding facility so she does not have any house manors yet. She will need to be potty trained and get some basic obedience/leash training. But she is so full of love and is very gentle.

She is just SO precious and everyday when we go visit her, I sit on the floor and she just curls up in my lap for some love and attention. I know she is so happy to be out of the cold and getting yummy meals everyday to fill her belly, but what she really longs for is a family to love her. A family to treat her the way she deserves to be treated. A family to bring her into thier home and adore her!
