UPDATED BIO 12/23/2010: Hazel is a gorgeous 6 year old 6.5 lb little yorkie girl who is being fostered in Miramar, FL (where she will stay until she is adopted). Hazel is just amazing! She keeps her foster mom laughing with her playful antics. She is a very good girl, behaves when FM leaves the house, is housetrained, and gets along with all the other dogs in the home. She loves to play with toys. She would do well as an only dog or with another dog. She is having surgery next week to fix her hernia and have her teeth cleaned. She is a great catch! Any family who adopts her will be so lucky!

INITIAL BIO 11/26/2010: Hazel is a 6 year old 6.5 lb little girl who is currently being fostered in Miramar, FL while she waits to make her way to her foster home in Cape Coral, FL.

Hazel is not only a pretty face. She has an amazing personality too! Hazel is sweet and gets along with all the furkids in Foster Mom's home, and she is 100% housetrained! She has seen the Dogtor and has a perfect set of bloodwork. She has a terrible yeast infection in her ears and on her skin. It is likely being caused by an allergy of some sort, possibly to her food. Hazel is on a prescription food right now and is not allowed to have any treats or human food. She is also on a prescription shampoo. Sadly, poor Hazel was obviously never given the care she so deserved.

Hazel is going to have her teeth cleaned this week and her hernia repaired. Please watch for updates on this little lady while she gets the love and care she has been waiting her whole life for.
