My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lena is a 4-5-year-old lady who was found as a stray and brought to the local animal control. Fortunately, she was taken into New Hope's foster care and is available for adoption. Lena is a true sweetheart, with independence and intelligence of a Boston terrier.

Lena is ok with some dogs and may be ok with cats. Lena is spayed and is perfectly housetrained.

The adoption process requires that you first fill out an application. While the application does not commit you to adopting a particular pet, it does allow us to learn more about you and to match you with the particular pet you are interested in. Once we call your references, we do a home visit where we bring the dog/cat so you can meet them and see how they would fit within your household. The adoption fee ranges. Lena's adoption fee is $150. This covers all their age-appropriate shots and vetting. We also give you a breakdown of future shots that the pet will need.

All donations go directly to the care of the animals, we are strictly a volunteer based group. Thank you for helping us save as many lives as we can.
