My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bagheera was left behind when his owners moved away. I can't imagine why because he is one of the sweetest cats around. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home and would probably do fine around dogs also. This handsome boy is very easy going but can also be playful at times. (He's so good that he wore the silly Santa hat (pictured) all day long without complaint. ) He takes everything in stride. He likes to sleep in bed with you or be in your lap when you are sitting down. He is one of our best cats and whomever adopts him will be very lucky indeed. Bagheera would do best in a home without small children (ages 12 and under). He's a sweet cat, but does not enjoy a lot of the activity that comes with kids.

Bagheera has been tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, neutered, fully vaccinated, and received flea & worm treatment. All of our foster cats are bathed, groomed & get a regular nail trim. There is no set adoption fee for Bagheera, instead a donation of any amount towards the ongoing needs of the cats in our care would be most welcome.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed only Hill's Science Diet brand cat foods, thanks to Hill's Shelter Nutrition Partnership Program
