Nate is a Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie/Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix. He is White and Cream. Nate is 1 Year Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 43 lbs.
Nate is a beautiful young boy! He was taken from his property along with two other dogs for not being taken care of. He was very happy to be taken by the pound since he was way underfed and enjoyed the food, fresh water and inside shelter they provided for him and his friends. Nate is loving being at his foster home now where he gets to snuggle and play with kids and dogs while he's staying with them. He loves toys especially if he's in the mood with fetch, although he hasn't grasped the concept of returning the toy he still will go after it. Nate loves playing outside with anyone who wants to and when he comes inside he gets a yummy dog treat for being such a good boy. Nate is a very happy-go-lucky boy who didn't have a good start in life but he's certainly not looking back! Nate enjoys anything that involves people, he loves giving kisses and receiving hugs right back. Nate would do well in any household, as long as he has a warm home to call his own and humans to give kisses to he'll be the happiest boy!
Nate would do well in any household, he's loved all adults, kids and other dogs he's met so far. We would love for Nate to go to a home with either another dog or children or both! Nate loves to go for walks and is very good on the leash, the only time he pulls is if he see's another dog or person he wants to say hello to. Nate is also very good while riding in the car and loves to go on trips with you if he's able to go. Nate is already crate trained and is doing very well on his housetraining. Nate would love a fenced in yard to go running around, but with a longer leash he still is able to go romping through the snow with his foster families children. Nate is a very sweet dog who seems to fit into well in any type of household. He has been through alot already and we want him to have a wonderful forever home!
Nate is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
