Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Noelle is about 12-18 months old and weighs 8 lbs. We're not sure about her breed; maybe maltese/terrier mix or maltese/poodle mix (mostly maltese but with long poodle legs). Her hair is really soft and fine, in various shades of creamy white and apricot, and she has a docked tail.
With that beautiful face, those long legs and petite figure, she'd be a natural on the modeling runway, but we'd rather see her gain a couple pounds (we're working on it!).
Here's what Noelle's foster mom says: "She is a sweetie, and when we introduced her to the boys (the male dogs), she was REALLY excited, wagging her tail and walking around with them, i.e., flirting! Everyone is getting along great! Noelle has recovered nicely from her spay and is a very playful pup. She has also gained a pound! She has some separation anxiety when left alone, but it is improving as she is feeling more secure. She wakes me up at night by licking my face or making a quiet bark if she has to go out to potty (so cute). She still has an occasional accident during the day, but I think this is because when it's really cold out she doesn't want to stay outside long enough to go (I don't blame her!). She loves to play with the other dogs, and is great with the kids too. At first she had no interest in toys, but now she's starting to learn that toys are fun! She runs as fast as greased lightning, so we call her Noelle the gazelle! She likes to ride in the car (on my lap), and she loves to cuddle. As long as she can be near you she's happy."
Noelle is the sweetest little girl in the world, but still a bit timid when she's in unfamiliar places. She loves to be held and shower you with kisses! All she wants is someone who will love her and let her know that she is safe.
UPDATE: Noelle has been diagnosed with a luxating patella (loose kneecap). Her left rear leg is a Grade 3 (on a 4-point scale). Because it can sometimes be painful, she lifts her leg and walks on 3 legs most of the time (although it doesn't seem to slow her down!). This condition will not get better on its own, but fortunately surgery will correct it and it's a permanent fix. Noelle will be available to go to her new home after her surgery.
If you wish to help Noelle and donate to her surgery (no amount is too small), please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on 'Donate.' All donations will go directly toward Noelle's surgery and are tax deductible. Noelle and K9BFF thank you!!
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Noelle, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form. NOELLE IS BEING FOSTERED IN FRESNO.
