Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brody: ~1 yr old stag red male, to be neutered within 2 weeks, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 13 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Brody was found as a stray & brought to animal control. He waited patiently for 7 days hoping his owners would claim him. For reasons unknown they did not. At that point Brody's options were be taken in by a rescue or shelter or be put to sleep... so here he is. So far Brody has been very reserved. He keeps to himself on the side lines. He is not skittish, scared, or terrified... just reserved. He greeted my 2 Min Pins and cat just fine. Lots of tail wagging and play bowing. He has not lifted his leg or gone #2 in the house & walks nicely on leash. He is quiet as a church mouse in his crate and puts up absolutely no fuss going in... coming out on the other hand he can be reluctant to do. He has just started to open up more to us. He has started to follow me around the house instead of sitting by himself. I can pick him up no problem and he will sit quietly next to me on the couch. I'm sure with a little more time he will come even further out of his shell. For now it he seems to be mending a broken heart... not really sure where he is or why he is here.
Brody will be neutered & micro chipped on 12/7/10. I will keep updating his bio, picures, & videos as we spend more time with him.
If you would be interested in adopting or fostering Brody please let us know. At this point I would not recommend he go to a family with children under 10 years old.
