We want you to meet Gracie. We know if you do, you will fall in love with this beautiful 4-1/2 yr. old girl!



Gracie has an unfortunate life, it would appear, until recently. When Gracie arrived at her foster home, we began to wonder if she had been abused. We will never know for sure. All that we can be sure of is that her life prior to arriving was very difficult. With a lot of TLC, Gracie was brought out of her shell & began to trust her foster family.


Today, Gracie seems like any other cat. She still tends to cower when one reaches for her & still sometimes runs away. Gracie has come a long way...she enjoys playing with her peacock feather, scampering around, making herself comfortable everywhere, watching the squirrels & butterflies in the yard, lounging in windows, getting a good petting, & even an occasional belly rub.



Although she doesn’t mind being held, she does mind being held for long periods of time. We brush her regularly & she really enjoys it , & we clip her all of her nails regularly. Gracie does enjoy attention & seeks it out. When she’s had enough, she lets you know.



Our suggestion is that the Queen of the Castle be just that, an only cat; she is probably best without dogs or children. Gracie is a wonderful kitty who deserves only the best of homes!
