Adoption Pending


Koe is a beautiful, purebred Bluetick Coonhound. Koe came to us from an overcrowded shelter where she had waited for over three months to find a home. She has been with us for a while now, and she is a WONDERFUL dog. I cannot believe that no one adopted this diamond of a dog. Koe gets along with the other dogs, is gentle with her foster family's toddler, and has really come out of her shell. Although she was shy and unsure when she came into foster care, she is now a bouncing happy dogs. Koe is doing beautifully with crate training and house training. With supervision and regular trips outside, she does not have accidents in her house or crate.


Since coming to Singing Blues, Koe has started obedience classes. She is learning to walk on a Gentle Leader, and one will be recommended for the family who takes her home. She is not, however, the star of her class. Koe is a wonderful, sweet, gentle dog, but she just isn't motivated to learn obedience activities. She will learn the basics with patience, practice, and lots of praise; but she is never going to be an obedience champion.
