Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beryl was a (barely) surviving kitten of litter of kittens Orphan had earlier in the year. She's estimated to be a year or so old, and was skin-and-bones when I caught her.
The day I caught her, she had given birth to a litter of kittens! However, instinct didn't kick in and she abandoned each baby off in random spots in the neighborhood, one on my door steps at 8 AM in the morning! Quite a rude wake up call, I can assure you. When I woke up for work later that day around 3 PM, I found MORE kittens abandoned in the neighborhood. Of 3 total found from this girl, two made it (one didn't know how to suckle and died), and now Beryl, whom was formerly of a semi-wild feral state, has been caught. Beryl was spayed 11/8/10, and has been microchipped as well, and is officially up for adoption!
She's become very affectionate and is a TOTAL LAP CAT. She will sleep on your lap and purr for as long as you'll let her. She's very low-key, and gets along well with other cats, given she gets enough of a 'grace period' to adjust to new family members. I do suggest that those other cats are male, just because females can be territorial, but she seems to be fine with most other cats.
