Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Samus was a 'allergy reaction' kitty. Her former owners lost their job and had to move in with their mom; whom was horribly allergic. Her owners then did the only thing they could; they got rid of her. (..By dumping her in my car and then asking how she was several months later..) Thus, she came into my possession. A former barn cat, she also was not fixed. She is now, and is officially up for adoption!!
Samus has a very nice, VERY affectionate temperament, but does get annoyed easily by loud noises / hyper family members. She's suggested for families with older children whom can respect her boundaries if she needs to be left alone for a while. She enjoys playing with younger kittens and cats so long as they respect her boundaries and let her relax when she wants to! Samus tolerates dogs very well, but does better with older dogs / calm dogs. Hyper dogs tend to annoy her quickly. Despite this, she's lived with a hyper Lab/Pitbull mix (Axl, you can see his Dogster on our page!) and tolerates it well.
She is adaptable to a VERY LARGE degree, and gets along with just about everybody if given a decent "adapt" period. (Usually no longer than 2 weeks.) Samus tolerates other cats, but prefers male cats for her living mates, but she has tolerated being amidst as many as 14 with little problem, so long as she gets food and attention when she wants it, she's fine. Samus is a jumper, and probably could catch a bird in mid-flight. She's suggested for homes with no small pets that may activate her prey-drive. Samus is mellow and calm most of the time. She mostly wants to sleep and rest, and curl up with you for attention. She prefers high perches or windowsills for naps. She's VERY talkative and will meow in greeting when you come home or wake up, and often will help rouse you past the snooze alarm with a few nuzzles if she knows you're starting to wake up. She's a very sweet girl.
