Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ridley should really be known as the 'one who broke the wolfie's back'. .. or mind. I work for a rather large, well-known, and dominate microchip / pet recovery company. Said company has a call center which is where I am employed. I rescue animals all day long. I come home and do it some more with 1-Up Rescue. I already had Samus and the FFXIII kittens, and that had brought the cat-count in my 1-bedroom home up to 9. I was leaving work, it was 1 AM in the morning (as I work night shift) and I started putting my bag and things in my car.
I suddenly hear a meow.
In the back of my head, my conscious is going '...you've gotta be kidding me.'
I turned around and looked in the direction the sound came from; our building and said one simple word. "Hello?" (Don't ask me why I said hello to a cat, I don't know.)
He answered. "MEW! MEEEEOOW! MMMMEEEEEEEOOOWWW!" each one even more joyous than the last. Like he was saying "FINALLY! Someone who will help me!" He came right up to me, his tail as high and as long as I've ever seen on any kitty, and nuzzled, begged for pettings, and, then climbed in my lap, up and over my shoulder, and into the passenger seat of my car and sat down on my purse. He then looked up and me and mewed, like "What? We're going home now, right?" That was how I came to have Ridley.
Ridley does well with just about any one and any thing. He is probably the most mellow, loving older cat I've ever met in my entire life. I'm constantly amazed at how well he tolerates all the other animals in our home, how he tolerates how oddly I may pick him up sometimes, and even just being lugged around like a giant teddy-bear. He doesn't care, at all. That being said, he is a big eater, and will probably be a bigger kitty.
**ATTENTION!**
Ridley is currently in need of having one broken tooth pulled that was brought to light just recently! We're in process of saving up for the dental surgery. If you are still interested, or would like to sponsor Ridley, please feel free to contact us!
