My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little 4 lb. fellow has come all the way from SC, where he was a stray (Can you imagine? Being so very small, and left to fend for yourself!). He is frightened (understandable, after all he's been through) but oh, so loving and gentle. He will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, adult household. He is great with other small dogs and cats, but will not be placed into a home with large dogs or kids.

Joey is about five years old (according to his paperwork, but we feel he is younger as his teeth are in great shape and he's very playful) and is housebroken and crate-trained. He loves to follow you around the house or yard. He is playful and animated, and just so very cute to watch. He loves belly rubs and sitting on your lap. Because of his small size, he is quite delicate, and preference will therefore be given to people with toy breed experience. Vet references and furniture privileges are required.

Oh, and of course he expects you to supply him with a cozy doggie wardrobe for all seasons, LOL - it's time he gets to enjoy being spoiled, as little dogs should!!!! :) He has certainly paid his dues. PLEASE NOTE: Poor little Joey is very afraid of the leash and does not walk with one. He can certainly learn, with love and patience, but in the meantime will need a securely fenced yard to do his "business". :)
