My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wink is a male Lab mix born approximately 3/27/08. He is a wonderful boy who for months was under a shelter's care because they liked him so much. But when the rescue got word about him and that he was starting to get depressed being in the shelter, we decided to help him out and he is now looking for a permanent, loving home.

Wink runs a few miles a day with his foster parents. He has lots of energy and lots of love would really like to find a runner to spend the rest of his life with.

He has no sight in one eye due to an eye injury that he sustained at some point earlier in life; though, nobody knows what happened. He certainly doesn't miss the eye. It just looks like he has one eye shut ... but it doesn't hamper his running with his foster parents or out in the yard with the other dogs at all. He had a pretty rough life before coming into the rescue, but now is in a wonderful, loving foster home just waiting for someone to adopt him and love him forever.

Requires a fenced yard and preference given to applicants with a companion dog in the home.
