My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake was found in an open space area near the city boundary in Carpinteria, perhaps abandoned by an owner who could no longer care for him. He is young and healthy and energetic, just like a lab should be. He is currently living in foster care but would love a big backyard to call his own or to gladly share with another dog or two - more friends to play with! He knows some basic commands and is learning to walk gently on a leash. He will play for hours and entertain you before settling down for a good night's sleep. Please contact us to meet this wonderful dog. It's hard not to smile when you see him and pet his luxurious coat. Oh, and he'll greet you like you're a rock star every time you come home!
