Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We currently have a delightful young male in foster care. He was neutered last week and will be available shortly.
Sampson is 13 months old (birth date 7/1/05). He needs to gain some weight and work on his housebreaking skills. Apparently, he lived his entire life in a run, since he has no idea about normal house things (vacuums, hair dryers, etc.) and is already loaded with calluses on his elbows and other areas - hard to imagine at such a tender age, poor boy. Apart from that, he's healthy and happy. The owner reports that he has had "3 weeks of professional training" and will do a 60-90 minute down stay. I cringe at the thought of how anyone accomplished that in such a short time with such a young dog, especially one that obviously didn't live in the house. He was surrendered because he and the older, resident male German Shepherd (protection trained - ugh) didn't get along. What a surprise...... At the moment, he is still settling in so he hasn't had a chance to meet any cats or female dogs, but we won't place him with a male dog.
