Max is a Calgary Humane Society rescue. Max was deemed unadoptable as he was too stressed out in their shelter and nobody could work with him. He was going to be euthanized and literally a few minutes before we said we could rescue him, he was being take to get put down. Max is the most handsome cat around and he knows it! Along with his big ego comes some quirks. Max is very uneasy around men and children. He has a lot of anxiety towards them and will act out in inappropriate ways to handle the stress. So Max MUST go into a home by himself, with no men or children. We realize this may be a lot to ask but it will allow him the chance to have a successful adoption and loving forever home.
