My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a 3-1/2 years old Chinese Crested hairless, excellent health, and 11 pounds of pure love. Just received booster distemper and kennel cough this past week, and has veterinary records from birth. She is AKC registered and originally purchased for $1,599.

Dixie has a very sweet disposition, loves to snuggle, and has gotten along very well with my other dogs. She is being spayed this week.

Housebroken, but not used to walking on a leash - she stays right beside you while she walks. Dixie is used to going out, taking care of business, and coming right back inside so walking is a new concept for her.

She is one of our fortunate rescues that has been well taken care for and no behavior issues!!!!! Due to the kindness of others she never saw the inside of a shelter.

Dixie is being fostered in Suffolk, VA and her asking adoption fee is $300.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
