Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belle is an 11 month old, purebred, Gray Landseer Newfoundland. She didn't get off to a very good start in life and as a result takes some time to warm up to strangers. She has wonderful expressive eyes. She is housebroken, good with basic commands and loves car rides. She is still learning but walks well with an easy leader halter. Belle gets along great with dogs her size but tends to chase smaller animals. She can be protective of her food and/or toys but once she becomes comfortable she is willing to share. She has not had much exposure to young children. She is fine with older children and with confident cats.
Belle will need continued training but she is bright, eager to please and easily motivated with either food or praise. Belle is healthy and weighs in at just over 90 pounds, she is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations.
Update from Belle's foster Mom: Belle was awesome at playtime today. There were about 50 dogs which is not my favorite time to be there but it was good because it meant there were also about 25-30 people and dogs from 2lbs to our giants. She did just great will the little dogs and didn't bark at any of the people, not once! She approached (albeit a tad slowly) almost every human there to be scratched. She also shared toys with everyone.
Our adoption fee is $250.00. A fenced yard with a minimum height of 4-feet is required for adoption.
We normally try to adopt out in our region. If you plan on submitting an application and you are out of our region, once your application gets approved we require that you come to our area to meet the dog and foster family. If that goes well you will be able to take your Newfie home with you.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to request a application.
