Chauncey, an adorable 7 1/2-lb. Maltese, owes his life to his groomer, Sue, who called us when she found out that he was going to be euthanized because his elderly human mom couldn't manage his care any longer. At a mere five years old, Chauncey has a whole lot of livin' and lovin' to do, and he's looking for a special someone who's looking for a true lap dog. When he arrived, Chauncey's ears were very badly infected, but he has responded beautifully to treatment, and he appreciates his new-found freedom from itching and discomfort. Chauncey is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm-tested and housebroken.
