My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHANCE IS BEING FOSTERED IN VIRGINIA PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE BEFORE YOU INQUIRE ABOUT CHANCE Chance is being fostered in VA, and is still looking for his forever home. He is ready to be adopted, and if you've seen his pics... that says it all! We love Chance & will enjoy having him here until his perfect home in found.
Our adoption procedure is as follows:
* Email the foster person and ask for an application.
* Submit the application to the foster person
* Application will be reviewed, personal and vet references will be checked
* A phone call to the potential adopting home may be made and/or emails sent with further questions.
* Home visit scheduled and completed

***Bald Is Beautiful will ship a dog if necessary. It is the responsibility of the new adopter to pay for shipping costs. Our helpful volunteers and foster homes will assist in making those arrangements, however payment for shipping is the responsibility of the new adopter as well as the cost of the airline approved shipping crate.

Bald Is Beautiful does not adopt out to homes with unaltered pets, homes with invisible fencing or children under 5 years old. All other children will be considered on a case by case basis. If you are intersted in this furbaby, email the foster coordinator at savingdoggies@yahoo.com or wickedsistersk9bakery@yahoo.com for an application.
Bald Is Beautiful is a group of foster homes across the country with no specific shelter. We do not have a specific shelter for folks to visit.

Are you aware that dogs do best when they aren't alone? Dogs are pack animals and really do best with another dog around while their pack leaders are at work or out of the home. We strongly suggest that folks have another dog for the new rescue to be a companion with. Senior or adult dogs make GREAT 2nd dogs. No chewing, usually potty trained and there is always an abundance of them. Have you considered adopting a senior? It's very rewarding and most senior small dogs live to be 13+ years old!

Please note: We do not adopt out young dogs to senior citizens but will be glad to take your application for a senior dog!
