Bella is a sweet natured 6 to 7 year old female pit bull. She is spayed and housebroken. She loves to go for sedate walks and show off her hot pink harness and matching collar. When excited she has a tendency to pull but will quickly heel when told to. (New places excite her) Bella’s favorite activity when outside appears to be rolling in the grass and grunting enthusiastically at any opportunity. A ride in the car is much enjoyed and she will sit quietly watching the world go past her window. Bella is great with other dogs and loves to play but younger dogs run rings around her. Her happy swishing tail can be lethal, so people with nick-nacks on low tables be warned…
Bella loves and is fascinated by our cats but is a little overenthusiastic in her attentions so requires close monitoring. We have not exposed Bella to children yet so we are unsure how she would react. (Even so, we just can’t imagine her being anything other than her goofy panting, lovable self) Bella lloves to be with people but is ok being confined to a bathroom/laundry room/kitchen with a baby gate during the day. Physical boundaries are consistently respected by this intelligent dog. Bella has never jumped up on anything or anybody in our sight neither does she chew nor destroy anything. She has a typical bulldog appetite supplemented with healthy treats that, despite her size, she accepts gently like a lady. We have not seen signs of food aggression with the exception of rawhides and bones and then it is only toward other dogs attempting to take her treats. (Although she will shamelessly steal theirs)
Bella is totally submissive to Humans and is dependent on us to make sure she lives to a ripe old age. If you give this dog your love, she’ll repay you tenfold. Please help us find Bella a forever home!
