ADOPTION PENDING!
Update 4/26/07
Hey everyone!!!! It's me....Ben! It was picture taking day here at the castle and can you believe, I've already gotten my photos back! Foster Dad did up my hair this morning and told me that I was going to look mighty handsome and after seeing myself in the mirror, I have to agree with him. I am truly one very handsome boy. Well ladies, what do you think? Foster Mom tells me that I'm a beautiful boy, but you know something? She tells all of us here at the castle that we look beautiful. Oh well, I guess that's what moms are suppose to do.
Princess Carly also asked all of us to write up a "Wish List" and share it with all the villagers in the Yorkie kingdom. Well, my wish list is that I am looking for a forever loving family, where I can be the only fur-baby or I don't mind having just one other fur-sibling, preferably a fur-sister. I also want a family who is willing to give me lots and lots and lots of treats, but don't tell Princess Carly that I asked for that, because she's always telling us that if we get too many treats, we won't eat our dinner. Well, that's her opinion, but if we could take a vote I have no doubt that TREATS would win paws down over dinner any day. I also want a family who will let me cuddle up with them while watching t.v. and who will allow me to sleep in bed with them at night. You know, I always get a better nights rest when I'm in bed right up next to my foster Mom and Dad. :o)
Well, I've gotta go......the other furry knights stole one of the princesses photos and the chase is on. I just love picture taking day!

WELCOME EVERYONE!!!!!! Well, I have only a few minutes to tell you a little bit about myself and then I have to run because Princess Carly has planned a BIG party just for me and can you believe that she has invited the ENTIRE Yorkie Kingdom!?!?!?! All the Princesses and Furry Knights who live here at the castle have really made me feel welcome but I must say that I am just a wee bit nervous about being tonight's "special pupster."
Well, here is how I ended up at Carly's Castle. Once upon a time, (well, it couldn't have been too long ago because I'm only one) I was out on my own and honestly, I'm not sure how I ended up all by myself but I was very thin and hungry. Then one day, some people spotted me and all of a sudden they started chasing me down and all I could do was run faster and faster so they wouldn't catch me. I had no idea what those people wanted to do with me and thankfully as I was running I saw a lady who looked liked she was very concerned for me. She knelt down and called me to her and without hesitation I ran right into her arms. WHEW....all I can say is that was definitely a close call! That sweet lady who took me in cared a lot about me but she couldn't keep me, so that's when she started looking to see if someone was missing me. She read about another lady who was looking for her Yorkie that was stolen from her when she was on an afternoon leisurely walk. That's right, someone pulled up in a truck, jump out and grabbed her baby right off the sidewalk. How sad is that???? Of course, the lady was thrilled to hear that I might be her missing Yorkie so she came right on over to see me but unfortunately, I wasn't her precious little boy that she so longed for. Now, with that being said this wonderful lady didn't want to leave me behind, so she took me home to live with she and her other two Yorkies. Happily ever after you say!?!?! Well, not so fast. Once I arrived at my new home, the Yorkie/Poo that lived there didn't like me. I'm sure he also knew that I wasn't his little brother who was stolen off the sidewalk and I guess he wasn't going to take a substitute either. Mom tried her best to keep us all happy but in the end it just wasn't working out. One evening I was sitting on Mom's lap and out of nowhere comes the Yorkie/Poo and bites me on the back of the neck. I immediately jumped down from Mom's lap and ran in a corner. Mom came to check on me and the first thing she noticed was that my left eye was bulging out. She then rushed me to the vet but in the end they couldn't save my eye and unfortunately it had to be removed. My Mom was so very sad because she then knew what had to be done and that was for her to find me another forever loving home. In the end, my Mom meet with Carly's Castle's foster Mom who promised to find me the best forever loving home that would be in MY best interest. It was extremely hard for my Mom to have to give me up. She cried and cried the entire time that she and my foster Mom spent together but my foster Mom reassured her that I would be fine and that she was welcome to call and check on me anytime and you know what? She does......she calls all the time to see how I'm doing. I love my Mom so much and I understand that she did everything possible to make things work out with all of us but in the end it didn't happen and I definitely don't hold that against her. She will be in my heart forever!
Well, I must get going because Princess Carly has just stepped up to the podium to introduce me to all of these fabulous people who have been anxiously awaiting my arrival. How special is that!?!?! So, if you're looking for a young and very active little boy who loves to play as well as cuddle and is curious about everything then please feel free to fill out an adoption application for me. I'm very healthy and I get along with most pupsters as long as they get along with me. OH NO!!! Gotta go.....Princess Carly has just called my name and I'm so nervous! Wish me well! The good thing is that as soon as I'm finished "bow-wowing" to everyone all about ME then the entire Yorkie Kingdom is going to chow down on some very special food and delicious treats!!!!! Now, that makes being nervous all worth while. Sending lots of Yorkie kisses your way.
