My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Roger in Ohio. Roger is a wonderful big goofy boy. When he was obtained from the shelter, we were told he was old, but turns out after examination by a couple of vets, Roger is probably 5-6 years old. He is good with females dogs his own size, cats and everyone he's met so far. He is reliably housebroken and well trained. His only issues are he is very afraid of loud noise, I.e., severe thunderstorms and fireworks and he does not like to be crated. The good news is there is really no reason to crate him as he is not at all destructive. When frightened, he becomes clingy and a drool monster. Roger would do best in a home with a companion, either cat or dog. If a cat, one that has had experience with big dogs as Roger will chase them if they run. Roger would also do best with an experienced owner as he can be stubborn at times. Roger is being fostered in SW Ohio.
