My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bubba is 17 pound, 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier. He has been a pampered pet and has received the very best veterinary care. Neutered, perfectly healthy, totally up to date on all shots, heartworm meds, micro-chipped, etc. He’s a very friendly and loving companion, loves squeaky toys, playing fetch and giving kisses. He knows how to sit, stay, and down. Bubba is crate trained, housebroken, accustomed to a kibble-only diet. He does not have an aggressive or dominant personality, but is a little skittish around small children. He would be best in a household without small children. All in all, Bubba is a very healthy and active yorkie with a fantastic personality and temperament. Very well behaved and would make a perfect dog to have around!

We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home. Please contact NCYorkieRescue@AOL.com for more information and be sure to visit www.NCYorkieRescue.org and fill out an adoption application, located on the top of the page - FORMS, to be eligible for adoption. Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued yorkie, and please always spay and neuter your pets!
