Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Life has been tough for my family. Our mom was rescued from a kill shelter and we were lucky that we all made it. If this wasn’t enough, my siblings and I all got sick when we were still little puppies so we missed on a lot of things and as a result, most of us ended up a bit on the shy side. While out and about, I am fine meeting people but at home I tend to get scared and uncomfortable when people I don’t know come in to visit.
I am an affectionate girl and love attention. I was adopted to a family with three kids and a mom where I spent 5 wonderful years. They said that I love food and if you leave anything appetizing, I may try to get it from the counter. Upon being returned, I got adopted pretty quickly and quickly bonded to the father. When he passed away not even a year later, his wife didn’t want to keep me, saying I was her husband’s dog and so I find myself back here. I am an active girl and enjoy playing fetch. I am also quite smart and know some commands like sit, fetch, and paw. Just like some of my siblings, I have quite a vocal repertoire, which may take a bit to get used to but once you start paying attention, most of them are indicative of what is on my mind, from being unsure to being happy to see someone.
