Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HoneyBear is becoming our Million Dollar Baby. Yet she continues to dream of finding her forever home like all of the other dogs she has seen come and go here at Open Arms. Donations are needed to repair HoneyBear’s compromised legs as a result of poor nutrition, lack of medical treatment and a life confined to a crate all due to an uncaring puppy mill environment. See below how you can help.
HoneyBear was an abused Chihuahua girl with two broken front legs when rescued. She had orthopedic surgery to fuse her ankles, and within two months she was walking! HoneyBear was going about her new routine on all fours when she developed a ligament tear in her right rear leg. Now after the joy of being able walk, her surgeon has advised that she rest with daily pain medication until repair surgery can be done.
Poor HoneyBear is once again not ready for adoption. But she could use donations in any amount from kind people who want to see her back on the road to recovery. She is a sweet and unassuming little dog with a can-do attitude which has made her a real survivor. Dr. MacKenzie at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Orange Park advises that she will have a long and happy life after her surgery. Open Arms wants to give her every chance possible.
Please consider making a contribution to HoneyBear’s leg surgery fund and enable her to overcome yet another obstacle in her short life. 1. Mail a check to: Open Arms, PO Box 354471, Palm Coast, FL 32135 and 2. Via PayPal as a gift to: Paws2Heart@bellsouth.net. If you share your name and address or email address, HoneyBear will personally send a thank-you note because you are a SPECIAL person for caring about her.
