My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Once in awhile rescue comes across a special dog that truly deserves a good home and Tristan is one of those dogs. He spent a few months in the shelter and was about to be euthanized when one of our volunteers went to pick up another sheltie and saw Tristan. Such a loving, happy-go-lucky fellow certainly deserves a second chance and Southland Sheltie Rescue is honored to give him that chance.

Tristan is an oversized boy with a great love for life, people and other animals. He is on a diet to reduce his size but not his temperament. He is neutered, up to date on shots and will soon have his teeth cleaned. He loves to roll in the grass and just enjoy life. Tristan is probably twelve years young and he certainly acts the part, so if you feel he could bring the joy of living into your home, please contact us and we will set up a meeting.
