Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet, petite Allie. Allie weighs just 32 lbs and she is all heart, what a sweetie. She loves to cuddle and lie next to everybody. Her age is estimated at 5 - 7 years old. Allie prefers to spend her time with you. She will go into her crate, but isn't overly happy about it, she whines for a few minutes and then lies down. She would prefer to just lounge in her dog bed.
Allie would do best with someone that is home all day, with limited amounts of time that she would be alone. She would be the perfect sidekick for a retired person or couple that are homebodies. She would do best with another dog to keep her company when she is left alone. Allie gets along well with other dogs and children.
She is a quiet little girl who enjoys a good nap. When she first came into rescue she wanted to know where you were at all times, following us around the house. She is much better now and more trusting that we will come back. She likes to look out the window and watch the birds. She walks well on her leash without tugging. If you have room in your home for a small companion that will keep you company, Allie could be just the girl to make your home complete. If you are interested in adopting Allie please fill out our online adoption application at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org!
History – Allie was pulled from a NJ shelter in March 2009 and was brought into foster care with ABR. She was adopted in May 2009, her forever home contacted us recently and felt Allie needed more than they could provide. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.
