Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cletus was found chained up to a tree, alone behind an abandoned house. He was severely neglected, starving, dehydrated, covered in flea's & ticks, just waiting to starve to death or die from heat exhaustion. He was abandoned and terrified!
Luckily for Cletus, he was found and rescued by a neighbor and was taken to a vet only to discover that he has a case of Heartworms. His medical expense has been covered but Cletus needs a special foster home for about 4 months while he recovers from his Heartworms.
He is currently on an all natural HW treatment. He needs to be neutered but his heart currently can not handle the surgery due to his advanced state of HW. He needs to find a very special foster home where he will continue to receive his daily HW treatment (all meds will be paid for while being fostered). Since he is not neutered, can not be around any un-altered females.
Cletus is approx a 2-3 year old Blue Tick Hound. He is extremely friendly and great with other dogs. He has not been tested with cats
Cletus has no adoption fee. Due to his health concerns we just want to find him a good home.
His HW medication will be provided until he tests negative.
