Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello There,
My name is Carl. I came to the shelter in TN as a stray along with my girlfriend Carla and our babies. Carla and the babies have since been adopted and Carla and I had a rough live before getting to the shelter. A very nice lady fostered us there, first Carla and then me. This wonderful lady Annie says I must have been abused in the past. When I first came to her house I hid the whole time in a cubby hole but eventually Annie managed to coax me out of the hole and out of the room with a trail of chicken pieces. You know what they say..."The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" Anyway, I'm slowly learning that the world is not always such a horrible place. I am looking for a loving, caring person who will take the time to earn my trust. I assure you I don't have a mean bone in my body and once I realize you are to be trusted I will follow you to the ends of the earth! So how 'bout it? Are you searching for a new best friend? I bet I could fit the bill perfectly. All I ask for is a bit of time and patience. My new foster mom here in NJ says I warmed up to her in just a couple of days. Spending a night cuddled with her in her bed sure went a long way to help! So how about coming to meet me???? I'll be waiting!!!!
