Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Barney. My foster mom thinks I’m one of the best fosters she has ever had. I was found as a stray and was taken to the pound. My owner never came to get me. Thank goodness for ESRA!
I try very hard to be good. I don’t jump up on the counters. I don’t jump up on people. I’m good with kids and other dogs. Now, cats are another story. If they run from me, I have to chase them, but if they swat me in the face, I leave them alone. I love to chase squirrels ‘till they are all up in the trees where they should be! Oh, and if you have to give me a pill, you have to stick it way back in my throat because I can detect a pill that’s been put inside any food item. This is thanks to my good nose.
I have been fixed, whatever that means. Foster Mom says I’m not really good on a leash because I pull too hard, but she is trying to teach me to walk by her side. I’m getting a little better, because she puts on this special collar that goes around my nose and over the top of my head. But boy, is it hard when a squirrel runs in front of me!
I have had all my vetting done, so I am feeling a lot better after being in the pokey, and now I am gaining weight.
If you have any other questions about me, please contact my foster mom at the e-mail address below.
Your friend,
Barney
