Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppy was just a little puppy when she was found running down a busy street. She was picked up by a motorist and brought to their business. Although thier intentions were good, they didn't know what to do with her, so they just tied her up outside their business. After a few days, a curious passer-by asked about her. They told them her story, but said they still hadn't figured out what to do with her. The solution they came up with was to just let her go. From there she was taken to a rescue where she now lives safely.
Poppy is a female redbone coonhound mix about 1 year old. She has never met a stranger! She’s a ball-loving, sprinkler-playing, bouncing-bundle of love, and joy. We don’t know how she is with children or cats as she hasn’t been exposed to them here. She is full of happy energy and would need a fence 5 feet or higher. Another dog in the family would be the ideal placement, as she needs a home with lots to keep her occupied.
Are you missing something in your life? Poppy would be the girl for you!
Poppy's adoption donation is $150.
