Hi - I am Grady the Fraidy. I am about 4-5 years old, and I was not socialized much at all during my former life. I am tiny guy - about 10-11 pounds, and I love to sit on your lap... once you catch me. Noises scare me a lot, and I have been working really hard on not peeing when my foster mom picks me up. I sound like a real charmer don't I? I hear you laughing; really, I
am a great boy. I'm small and require very little execise. My favorite past-times are sitting on laps and watching TV. I do play a tiny bit, but sometimes my toys scare me and I'm not real sure what toys are. I
do try to play with my foster brothers and sisters, but I am not real sure how to do that either. They make fun of me when I play, but I keep trying to learn. Sometimes when I'm on the couch I can even be a tiny bit bossy to the other dogs, but a quick little "no" from my fostermom and I stop right away. OH - and there is this big white tiger here (they call her a cat), and she chases me around. I'm scared of her, and run and cry, so I guess that means I'm ok with cats. I really have come a long way since being in my foster home. I come downstairs and join the family on the couch a lot of the time now, but I still prefer to take my meals in my private room; but hey who doesn't like room service? Also, I like to be "delivered" to the outdoors, so I will do my business. I'm bit scared outside, but eventually will roam around. I think I have the staff here very well trained. I am looking for a special family who can be patient with me and help me learn to be a trusting boy, and to help build my confidence. I do have lots of love to give, and I am working so hard on being a "normal dog". But hey, who's to say what is normal? If you can give me a nice quiet home with lots of love and patience I just may be the dog for you. Check out a couple of my
photos. I am a cute guy - quirks and all!
