My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ya’ll! My name is Bellamy and I’m a young, sweet blue girl from NC. I was just out for long walk (not sure how I ended up on my walk…but) and I wondered up to a farm. When the owner of the farm saw me she decided she had to help me. She fed me and offered me a nice, warm, safe place to stay. Thank goodness because I was about to give birth. A week or so after I arrived I got into a bit of a struggle with a snake and the snake ended up biting me. Yikes! That hurt! I don’t wish that on anyone.

A few days after my snake bite, I gave birth to three healthy and happy babies. There was just one problem – I wouldn’t stop growling at them. I don’t know why I had to growl at them, but I guess I just wasn’t cut out to be a momma. My babies are doing well now though… they are with a human who is taking really good care of them. I am also doing much better…

I can’t be spayed yet, but as soon as I can I will be. My foster momma says I will never have to worry about having babies again. That was GREAT news!

If I could describe myself I would say I’m sweet natured, a smiler and super submissive with humans. I never had much in my life so I really appreciate my warm blanket, snuggling and affection… =)

I’m good with other dogs, but because I never had much I tend to think everything is mine, mine, mine… but I’m learning that I can share and still have things.

My foster momma says I just need patience and some TLC. She says I’m going to blossom and I can’t wait for that happen!
