Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What is cuter than a pit bull??? A baby pit bull of course!
This sweet, affectionate, adorable little guy is about 14 weeks old and approx 20 lbs. Tank absolutely LOVES attention and cuddling! He is currently working on his crate training and house breaking.
He was found in front of the pound along with the rest of his siblings by the dog warden on a Monday morning. They were all in a box, wrapped up in Christmas paper. They are super excited to be out of the box and are looking for a home to call their own!
He will be ready for adoption in mid-late July. Feel free to get a jump start and apply now!
Can't take him home, but want to help? Try a Virtual Adoption!! Donate any amount towards his vetcare and you will be listed as a sponsor and receive a sponsorship certificate suitable for framing!
We prefer this pup to be in an area that does not have any breed specific legislation against "pit bulls" and are willing to meet or ship to the right family. Pit Bull Terriers mature slowly (4 years old!) and may not get along with other dogs as an adult; therefore,
he will be placed as the only dog, or with a female dog only if the adopter has previous experience owning a "pit bull" breed and another dog at the same time.
Take 2 Rescue does not support breed specific regulations, but it is required that the adopter be aware of and comply with any laws in their area for owning a "pit bull" breed. Pit Bull Terriers can be headstrong, therefore a home that will obedience train this guy, using positive reinforcement, is mandatory.
