My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah was dumped at a shelter to be put down when her family moved away. She was so sweet and friendly that they held onto her and when her time ran out, a loving volunteer took her home -- not knowing where to bring her but knowing she couldn’t let her die. She has learned that Delilah loves all the dogs she meets, big or small and respects that she will sometimes be the subordinate of the pack which is great!

Basically- she’s a smart dog that “gets it.” She is about 60 pounds of happiness who knows sit, stay, come, leave-it and is obviously eager to please. She is also very comfy in her crate. While she would be a great running partner, she is happy to just lay low and enjoy all life had to offer her. We won’t let her come this close to death unnecessarily again.
